Park Güell Accessibility

Information for visitors with reduced mobility. Learn about the recommended accessible route, wheelchair access, and services available to ensure a comfortable visit for everyone.

Park Güell's unique design, with its steep slopes, stairs, and uneven paths, presents challenges for visitors with mobility issues. However, the park is committed to improving accessibility and provides a specific route for wheelchair users. For information on concession tickets, please see the free and reduced tickets page.

Accessibility Information

Wheelchair Accessibility

Due to the architectural characteristics of the park, with its irregular paths and numerous stairs, free circulation for wheelchair users is difficult. There is an adapted route that allows you to visit a portion of the Monumental Zone, including the Nature Square (the main terrace with the Serpentine Bench) and its panoramic views. However, areas like the Dragon Stairway are not accessible by wheelchair.

Recommended Access

It is recommended that visitors with reduced mobility enter via the Carretera del Carmel entrance, which provides the most direct access to the adapted route. There are two free parking spaces for accredited persons with reduced mobility at this entrance. Taxis can also drop you off here.

Services

The park offers a free companion ticket for visitors with a certified disability. Accessible restrooms are available within the park. Staff are available to provide information and assistance.
